Dug up an old thread, but I’m looking for a nice, unmolested set of Cup 2s. Specifically the 7x17 and 9x17 ET55. Would also be interested in a refinished set as long as one could vouch for the quality of the work. If anyone is looking to sell or knows of any for sale, let me know. Thanks!

I read in this thread that the bottom of the crests are to point to the top of the valve stem? Any photographs for reference will be appreciated. Also, are there specific valve stems to be uses or can I use plain black rubber Pep Boys valve stems? Thanks
(My wheels are Cup II's)

If you wanted regular snap in rubber valve stems you would use TR-413 valve stems. TR416S if you want chrome metal bolt in stems.

In my opinion Cup IIs are the only 17 inch wheel choice for a 993 and I admit I don’t know a lot about varying silver colors but if and when I decide to refinish mine I will come back for color advice. Mine are not in use as I chose to go 18 Speedline RS genuine wheels to keep in stock mode since my car is an RS tribute. I have to add that my feeling is that for 18 inch wheels on a 993 RS Speedline is the best.

Realize this is an old thread but it's what inspired me to get Cup II wheels so I just wanted to share my results. Got the car outside for a few photos as it was quite warm today in Canada. Was going to take it for a little drive until I realized I forgot to switch over the seatbelts onto my new seats

This is with a 28mm spacer in the back and 26mm in the front. Think I'm going I'm ultimately going to switch it up and go to 21mm in the back and 28mm in the front. Narrowbody car. Coloured centre caps on order.

@dantonio your car looks really good with those spacers! How much did you lower it?
