Porsche 993 Factory Cup II Wheels--a thing of beauty?

My 96 NB originally came with 17" Cup 2's, when I bought it a dozen or so years back it had 18" Turbo Twists on it already. Now that time has passed I am liking the Cup 2's more and more.

To answer the “why” on Porsches recommended higher tire pressures than a lot of us run, it was to protect themselves from bad press and/or lawsuits by trying to tame oversteer via air pressures. It wasn’t to avoid cracked wheels. 🙄

I can't believe no one has jumped on these for $500 with AD08s. Chrome finish might not be everyone's favorite, but it still a great price, especially of someone wants a set of track wheels. I have often thought of returning to Cup IIs, but I don't have the space to store an extra set of tires/wheels.

Since this is the "Cup 2 thread", does anyone know a good touch-up paint and clear coat to match the original finish? The wheels on our '95 are in excellent shape except for a few minor pebble dings. I did a search and only came up with Wurth silver (not a good match) and Einzett Silver (apparently not available anymore).

I think the Cup II look great on these cars. 17” wheels gives you a decent ride and as been mentioned if you lower the car to euro height it looks better.
I also think judicious use of spacers can also help improve the stance. Speaking of spacers has anyone noticed that the rear wheels are not centered left to right?
I’ve had five air cooled 911s over the years and at least four of them had this issue. In each case rear wheels were offset to the right(passenger side), I actually run a 7mm spacer only on the driver’s side to counter this issue on my 930 and 993 that I currently own.
