Just picked up my new to me 993 today
Finally got my 993 after alot of looking around
I am a very happy camper
I find myself making up reasons to go to the garage so I can just stare at her
1997 Guards Red C2 with 42,000 miles
Car is in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically
Could not be happier, forcast tomorrow is for sun so I can't wait for a ride.
I must say I was considering buying a 997 until I stumbled onto this forum.
I discovered how passionate this group is about this car. It finally clicked for me when I drove a 997 and 993 back to back. The 997 was kind of like I was on a ride, while when driving the 993 I felt like I was in total control
Bought it from Danbury Porsche in Connecticut,
Props to Malachy Tracey and all the guys over there, they are a great bunch and treated me very well.
I will post more shots tomorrow, too dark right now to shoot any more

The shop down the street from them is great, Speedsport. No affiliation, etc.
BTW...congrats. I know how hard it is to find a good one. I wish I could have found a local one too!

Congrats Toddsterr, guards red is a sharp color! What setup of options does she have and i've got to know what set of wheels came on the car?

Congrats!!! Now you gotta break it in with the upcoming >>NY/NJ/CT Tri-State Run - SATURDAY APRIL 7<< that Ilko is putting together or maybe the Arrwin/Bob run in May. Always good fun.
