Congrats!! I bought mine in Dec '10 and don't regret it for a minute - I think the 993 drives better with each time. Best wishes!

 

I just bought a 96 993 a few weeks ago and have the same problem! Honey, gotta go to the garage for a sec.... beautiful car, enjoy it!

I am passing on Hershey.
Went out last Saturday solo, today solo to a PCA event.
Doing the trip to GlennRock also, I am afraid the wife will divorce me if I go to Hershey. I just can't get enough of this car. Went to my local PCA event today and we had a sampler welcoming new members, we had a mini councours and I had the only 993 in the parking lot. There was everything there from a mint 914 to a brand new 991, and I have to say if you said I could keep any of them, but I could not sell it for cash, I would have taken mine home. There is just nothing else like it, can't get enough of her.

It so cool to have owned a 993 for almost 10 years now yet year after year since I bought my "old" car people keep buying them, posting about it on Rennlist and they too find that joy, glee and exuberance that I felt and still feel every time I get in mine. Also, they're able to express that joy in greater poetic prose than I can making me love my car even that much more when I read your posts.

Through the eyes, ears and senses of you newbies, my thrill quotient is increased with each new "review". Congrats on your red beauty.
