Default Hello

New to the Forum and just want to say Hi to everyone. After stalking the forum for a few years and searching and waiting, finally got my 993 from a fellow rennlister. Thanks Ron for the smooth transaction. Here is a picture of me picking up the car. Drove it back from PA to MI just after Thanksgiving and it has been parking in the garage ever since. Taking apart the interior and working on yet another RS-ish clone project. Will post update when there is more progress. This forum has been great resources for ideas and DIY information.

The crazy thing is, I might pick up my second Porsche (a '99 996) in a few weeks. It will replace my Audi A3 as my daily driver. I am also selling a '05 Ducati 999R in spring to fund my RS Clone project. So if anyone here is interested in either a A3 3.2 or Ducati 999R, let me know

Ken.

Looks great and welcome. An RS project for a daily driver, depending on how far you go that takes some guts

BTW, GF took those pictures, and she rode in that thing with me for all that 500 mile drive. It has H&R with Bilstein HD at RS ride height. The Sparco seats had foam taken out for a previous much taller owner. We could barely see over the dash (driving grandma style) and our backs were aching for a few days after. My GF is a better catch than this 993

@Dan, the 996 will be the DD. This 993 is probably going to be something I slowly modify in the next few years. It won't be a proper RS-Clone and it definitely won't be comfortable

Welcome Ken, I'm in Ypsi with a Glacier White Coupe - hiding from the snow at the moment but maybe when the roads clear we could meet up. Hope you document the RS build here on RL?

ride height looks mean and white c2 coupes r my 2nd fav color. Very Nice struts/springs. Considering the same setup myself except add M030 bars over the PSS10s with adj RS bars.
I've got RS rockers on the way to complete my cosmetic RS look, however, the rest will be RS shifter, rear seat delete and cage.
Welcome and enjoy
