It appears to be one of the 996 versions, but I would still trade a kidney for one. Do want!

996 version? naw/ all these GT1s were 993 based from the cab forward but they used the headlights from the upcoming at the time 996/boxster.

The first GT1's had 993 oval lights, I suspect that's why Davisriley referred to the '996 version'. Love the car though, despite the lights...........

I think it's stunning, lights and all. Look at the interior detail ... unbelievable. I'd bet the owner would snap at $1.5 :-) Don't we have some 'day traders' on board here with a little passion for something other than the accumulation of numbers? ;-)

There is alot more than just headlights that is 996.... Even the VIN tag and some other tags have 996 part numbers...
