Good morning everyone......still Robert here.
She had a pretty rough night, very nauseated and a lot of pain. She gave the pain button a workout and went through a whole syringe of morphine.....which probably caused the nausea.
I'm sure she'll be there another night. I don't want to bring her home and have a problem because she wasn't ready, but that's up to the insurance co. I think her doc will say she needs another night.
She said to tell all of you thanks and to behave yourselves!

Wishing you well for a quick recovery..I have a couple of suggestions post op..when your pain level is at about 5 (between 1-10); ask for a pain med..most patients ask for pain med at 10, it's too late by then,,,it takes 15 -30 minutes for the meds to work...
They should have given you a incentive spirometer..the one with the meter on it...the nurse will instruct you to use it 10x an hour..i prefer to tell my patients..use it when the commercial of your tv show comes on, and put it away whe watching your show..hope this helps..RN... good luck to you..

Robert,
Thanks for the updates, I'm so glad everything went well.
Please pass on our regards from the other side of the pond and tell her that we're all looking forward to seeing the new & improved Joanne Speedster as soon as she's fit and well.
Cheers,
Colin + Marc & all at 9m

Robert, glad to hear that the surgery went well. As to the recovery, the drugs are the worst part of the ordeal! She will find her "balance" today or tomorrow and quickly start to recover. My thoughts are with both of you!
