Just wanted to give a big
for Polman, who helped me out with my shifter and e-brake "while he was at it". Just a very generous move and I will be looking to pay it forward here on RL.

Polman, would you recommend the dye you used? I don't have an airbush so I'm not sure how the application would look if I just smeared/painted it on. How large of a bottle should I buy? I only need to dye the dash and the two upper pieces on the doors
Can anyone recommend an US based company alternative? I don't need exact Porsche black, any high quality black dye will work as well.

Just found this thread. LOL the project looks familiar... I did the same thing a few years ago, except I went from black to gray! LINK My favorite part was that tiny piece of carpet next to the front trunk pull handle -- you have to lie down and stitch it in by hand. Ugh, I'm getting exhausted just thinking about this project again.
Looks great though!

Hallo Vanguard, it’s a good move just to dye what you are about to do, it makes a big difference for the cars look. The hardest thing to do is to go for the full treat with seats etc….
I used 600 + 300ml for the whole car, so a medium bottle 150ml will do for you. The price is low, so while at it a 300ml is not wrong. Remember that to cleaning is the most important step to get the dye to stick. For those parts you don’t need an airbrush to get a professional result, 2 dabbing…and that’s it. Let it dry between the layers and follow the instruction that comes with the set. I can highly recommend Dynamix in Ireland, and they ship to US….good luck

Hello Polman, just finished the whole project. Didn´t go as far as you, but will make the lower dashbord also - before summer. Seats are now the turbo ones. Thanks for advice and inspiration.

Hi Polman,
Any updates with pictures of the complete project?
I'm very inspired and scared to even attempt such a big job but knowing it can be done is encouraging.
Is dying items that have a lot of oils from human touch problematic (hand brake/steering wheel) or do you have to clean several times to get the dye to take?
