A lot of you knew I was looking to change my interior from black to gray, and I've finally finished the process.
Of everything, I'm most pleased with the leather work, all done by Rob Budd at The 928 Leather Shop. He was a great partner in the project and did amazing leather work. He made it look just like Stuttgart's leather work, and used their leather. If you'd like to spice up your interior a bit, I can't recommend them enough. Any color leather and stitching you want, and they even do alcantara.
Other than the leather, the project involved:
- Acquiring classic gray vinyl parts (junkyard)
- Ripping out the old carpet and replacing with new
- Getting the upper & lower dash and shifter, e-brake done in leather
- Bunch of little stuff, like v1 wiring, making an LED key area light, clutch pedal update, Rennline pedals, new Alpine stereo, subwoofer, carbon fiber, ...
Ok, now for the pics:

Any comments appreciated, but you don't need to tell me I'm crazy because I already know that.

That leather work is amazing! My car has the full leather from the factory which includes the dash and yours looks just like it! Did rob cut the paterns out by hand with a template? everything looks like it lines up well. Man, you're way down the slope now E!

Good stuff, looks great.
Rob and 928 Leather did the dash and center console on my car and I can't recommend him highly enough. Great products and top notch service.
Rob, glad to see you're doing 911 work as well, I've got this hankering for a 993...
