That car brings tears to my eyes.
Nice car - the M003 version of that car is spectacular

My personal "holy grail" spec: Blue Turuoise (Very few RS in this colour), M002, leather Recaro buckets, Heigo 1/2 cage, blue seatbacks and belts, and that's it. Manual windows, no airbags, no A/C (ask me this on a 35C day and I might change my mind on the A/C).

While we're talking RS', how about an update and recent pics of your stunning machine?

Haven't got an updated pictures I'm afraid, it's the same as before. I had not had any opportunities to take pictures this year. Not had the enthusiasm to do dawn raids - neighbour complains

There was a Blue Turquoise RS sold via the said dealer some time ago but it had an incorrect front spoiler (had Aerokit II one on so perhaps it had an accident previously).

The amount of knowledge here is amazing. I get smarter just by logging on

Mr. Moffat-- Sir, I just missed your call, dialing you back now.

Hope to discuss your schedule this weekend, plus this:

FYI, 'white' floorboard is clear plastic that says, "Dealer must remove protective cover."

The decade-old photo shows the RS hardback sport seats, as Calvin mentioned. IIRC, they're currently in storage: the August 2011 photos I took have 964 RS/Speedster seats.

Looks like Joe's signature suggests it was a Cup car! The above photo sure looks like Dentist Spec RS M002

Joe deleted the Polar Silver RS (above) from his signature when he sold it.

That explains it as I thought I had remembered it as M002. Thought I was definitely getting senile!

Clubsport1-- Thank you & others for the gentlemen's education, good sir.
The amount of knowledge here is amazing, as I wrote above with you in mind.

Had a great chat with Mr. Moffat on the phone yesterday ... I started off by saying I would know a lot more about RS' by the time we hung up
One thing I learned is that I'll crack open my copy of "Porsche 993: The Essential Companion" by Adrian Streather more often to read up on rarities like these! Page 36, for example -- Limited edition models: Carrera RS. (I finally get to use this emoticon, but on myself: )
I'm envious of y'all in countries where RS' are more readily accessible. As Tim mentioned, they're now much easier to import to Canada.

I've been lucky to be around two of the RS' here in the US this summer.

FYI, for those that can be at this weekend's Rennsport Reunion at Laguna Seca Raceway & would like to see them in the flesh
I'm told the yellow RS should be in Porsche's official "History of the 911" showcase. On the lawn next to that display, a vendor wants my 993, so I'm asking him about other friends' exotics that may join, to include the silver RS.

The yellow used to be owned by a RLer, when I photographed it in 2009 at Carmel, CA.
Here's a photo I took of it when I met its charming new owner at Dana Point, CA, this past July:

CL.

if you feel comfortable enough to send me your email address through the private message facility.

If you don't already have a copy I can send you the extensive "993 RS technical bulletin" pdf by return.

I have sent this to a few rennlist guys over the years without any problems.
