Chuck, we've never met, but I've read your posts here and between them, the way you've handled your illness, and what everyone else says you're a heck of a guy. Get well and have some fun.

You are in my thoughts and prayers, Chuck. Great to hear from you and really glad that you're on the mend. Now, knock that stupid cancer upside the head and get better! We're all rooting for you!

I was thinking the same thing. I am sure SOMEONE would gladly give Chuck a ride.

Chuck ol' Chap~~~ Could you come if we could find you a ride?
Glad to hear you are feeling so well that you actually want to go to work.

Wow. What a nice offer! Yes, I probably could but it is still dependent on my treatment schedule but I would really only be gone a few days. I may reach out to some of you. I'm not going to commit him but I have a local Memphis friend who would do it. Except I'm really hoping he takes his wife because she will enjoy it. She goes to Elkhardt Lake with Grant, her husband, who races at Elkhardt Lake-has for quite a few of the last years. He's competing in an -Austin Healy. I believe Grants wife would really enjoy the event. He's actually even offered to trailer my car up there in case I was on a restricted schedule and I could mabe drive a little. He's a hell of a guy. And thank you all for the generous suggestion. I will keep that option open, mainly because I wouldn't want to miss a year and not see so many of my good friends. Which you are !

Chuck-- I'm not a doctor, but I play one on RL:
Due to the mental instability & lack of judgement demonstrated in your last two posts, I'm afraid the prognosis isn't good

...or I must have the same illness

Enjoy -- just what the doctor ordered...
Delivered yesterday - or as we say in the medical profession, "stat!" - from RLer EB847
As I learned last month in Monterey, CA, hanging out with him is therapeutic for the sickest of individuals!!!

Catching up on the thread....
Chuck is a good navigator, he doesn't miss turnoffs like some of us.....
Unfortunately he has a problem spotting the LEO's before they tag him.

Oh, that's right, he was sacrificing himself so the rest of us wouldn't get a ticket! Thanks again Chuck!

If David can't make it I'll be happy to take you over. I'm sure Mike would take your wife. But let's hope David and his new wife get to go.
