Monterey This Week/Weekend
Who's in? Day trip for us, Friday only. Stop by the Porsche "dealer" at Quail Lodge, then park the car either in Carmel or Pacific Grove and spend the afternoon biking around to get over to whatever's set up at Pebble Beach. Cap it off with..........seeing my friend run his dirt car up at Watsonville Speedway?!?! (May stay over somewhere to play golf on Saturday, but as we know a room even up in Gilroy is goofy money this weekend.)
We should be hard to spot, likely being the only 4S Aerokit car running around with bikes on the roof.

There is a fun-run/tour to Hahn winery being set up by our friends over at the Pelican Forums as well. I am going to be joining them Friday morning, then I am heading to the track. There is just too much fun stuff to do and not enough time!

The week got off to a great start with the Concours On The Avenues in Carmel today. There was a plethora of Porsche's where all but two that I saw were older than 993's which I think were too new of a manufacturing date to be officially eligible for entry.

I was able to sneak down there for a look at the concours today. The whole day out, swarms of Ferraris and I only saw one other 993, the C4S that sanyata posted a pic of. Actually felt like I was the one in the 'exotic' for a change

That will also be the next event to see RLer C4SDave's 993, one of only two produced in Gulf Blue

Great shot of RLer Dave's Gulf Blue!
He was there with another RLer. Just talked to him; more pics may follow.

I'll be at the track on Saturday but in the E-Type. Assuming too many parts don't fall off on the way down I'll be on the track for the parade lap. The race is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the E-Type.
The wife and I are headed up tomorrow morning, staying in Carmel 'til Monday morning. Will be in the Legends corral Friday morning, Mecum auction on Sat and just wingin' the rest of the weekend.
Hope to see some of you guys up there.
