Dave-- ^^ Many RLers have aided me, including you; this forum's all about helping others.

I'm thrilled the previous owner contacted me when it was for sale, & that you were still interested.
Please just let me know the next time a certain silver WB 993 Speedster's for sale

BTW, thanks to you & Ken for turning me onto this cool site: 94Speedster.com.

Speaking of cool 911 sites, did your new Blue arrive with its Crevier license frame?

This very special 1997 993 C4S was special ordered through a California dealer in September of 1996 for November production. Special ordered in Gulf blue with Black leather. The car is equipped with the following options: In dash CD player, AREO kit, Sport seats, motor sound package, Sport suspension, Hi Fi sound package, Porsche crest on seats, Seat backs painted Gulf blue, red seat belts, carbon-leather steering wheel, rear storage-no seats. Every single piece of documentation inclusive of original order form, sales receipt, customer delivery reciept, service documentation and the window sticker SIGNED BY FERRY PORSCHE are included with the car. The car is as new with only 6,235 documented miles. This is one for a serious collector of rare Porsches.

If anyone could do a quick and dirty photo shop job to gulf blue with the following wheels, would be greatly appreciated!

Has anyone seen a set of the new 19" Fuchs finished in the 'RSR' style with aluminum color for the 5 blades, black color for the inset and polished outer rims? On a Gulf Blue car

I think these are Gemballa Competition wheels, not Rooks.

IIRC, TYNUSK (sp?) still has a set for sale....

IMHO, all blue looks awful for the RUF's....when wheels and the body color are the same, it just does not look that great.

I understand what Mike means. Silver is, for lack of a better term, a "normal" wheel color and looks fine, even on a silver car. I think gulf blue wheels on a gulf blue car would look funky (and not a positive connotation either).

YMATMV (your mileage and tastes may vary).

Polar Silver so its got enough blue to offset the hyper-silver of the RUF's...so the color is not the same......you asked for it!

Yeah, I know you were just poking fun!

BTW, the car is low, but I (knock on wood) very rarely have any clearance issues. I think switching to the Turbo bumper from the RS splitters made a huge difference on the front end clearance. Anyways, i love the look, and the car won the "Peoples Choice 2010" at the PCA 2010 Escape for the 964/993 series.....a nice surprise but a surprise nether the less since I was going with the theory that silver cars rarely win these sort of events. :-)

Cheers,

Mike

Default Gulf blue and wheels

Yeah, I'm still looking for more ideas. I'm hoping someone will photoshop Jager's wheels to my car and I'm also curious what the car would look like with a set of 19" fuchs with silver face spokes with the sides in black and polished lips.

MikeJ. Your car looks great in that pic. The targa profile in polar works well with the 19" RUFs. Love it.

Dave-- Any progress?

Please say hi to Jeff for me. Ask him to read this 964 post if he hasn't already, or maybe you can answer my question on the "1994 Speedster Widebody" thread.
