Default Need advice on sport steering wheel..

I have been contemplating for months on which SW to get:
1.RS
2.Mod 7

I like the RS and the way it will match my black interior and the RS shifter but i dont know if i will feel a difference between 380 and 360 diameter.

I like everything about the Mod 7 but im worried the deep dish will bring it too close to me and will make me move seat back and i wont be able to reach pedals correctly.

Any experience you guys have with them i would like to hear.
Thanks.
P.S. i did a search but i still need some advice.

I've played with both. My one issue with Mod 7 is it's pretty thin. So try to find and grab both and see. also look at Sparco wheels similar to Mod 7 (325, 345 or 368 models).

I loved my Mod 07 in the RSA. Very comfortable! Wasn't too close and don't forget that the feeling of "deep dish" is more visual than anything else, due to the lack of airbag on it.

If you are not concerned about retaining an airbag for safety on the street, either would be great.

Thoughts:

I can't get the steering wheel close enough! If anything, the dished mod 7 would be an improvement for track driving.

The RS wheel is nice, but obviously less 'racy' with its design and leather covering. If you were building an RS tribute, that may be more desireable.

As for size, I installed a small (340M?) Raid Daytona. It's nice, thick in the grip, and perfect in diameter for driving. That said, it really does obscure the gauges for me, so a bit of 2 steps forward, 1 step back.

Will also be at LCMT if you want to see and feel.
