In UK at the moment and watched this senna documentary 2 days ago. Must see for all F1 enthusiasts and all gearheads. Fascinating story.

Time flew by when I saw it a month ago: recall 3 things:

1 Senna especially plus Prost (of France) seemed untouchable in the rain.
2 Very noticeable how the support of Balestre (of France) and his decisions seemed inconcistent, as Ron Dennis made clear. If Senna were French he would have had another F1 championship but I guess many guys here remember that anyway.
3. Nobody has died in F1 since THAT weekend, possibly the worst in its history.

BTW Do not forget Roland Ratzenberger

RIP Roland

RIP Ayrton, so far no RDU showings that I can find, only Charlotte. I want to see it on the big screen.

Had Ayrton lived, he'd be the one with 7 titles, not Schumacher (3 + 94,95,96,97) IMHO. He is the best there was

I got to see him race in Montreal in 93, and Montreal 94 was not the same without him

I really wish this had wider distribution

I can't get away to see it during it's limited NY run, and there's no way I'm driving all the way to Philly to see it!

When will it be out on DVD?

Limerock has arranged a week-long run of the Senna film at the Moviehouse in Millerton, NY from Friday, 9/2 to Thursday, 9/8.
There will be special guests and a Q&A following the film at two showings on Saturday, 9/3.

The Q&A with former F1 reporter and film contributor John Bisignano in DC was outstanding, icing on the cake. I heard that he did only 1 Q&A in DC, which some fellow Dorki and I were lucky to attend.

I saw it at the Sunshine on Hudson st NYC last week.
Very well done film. Be prepared for a sad ending-best to go out after for some drinks .

I wonder if this will ever make it on Netflix. Better on a big screen but I'll take what I can get.

Though not available just yet, Netflix did allow me to put it into the queue pending availability. But after seeing it in DC last week, I think I want to buy an original copy for myself. A very good story well told.
