Folks

I am going to produce a series of CF accessories for the 993, any wish list and comments?

Terence.

I just about have every piece Marcus in Germany produces for the interior. Its taken 7 years but I have maybe 35-40 individual pieces in the 993 cockpit and engine bay.

My advise. Define accessories. If you mean trinkets then stick with things like key rings, key cases and the like.

If you mean interior/exterior parts then look at a good front hood. One that has all fittings in place or easily installed but yet is light and high quality. A CF sunroof panel could be worth investigating too. A CF OBDII cover for 1996+ owners would be nice (Marcus sells a round one for ROW 19 PIN OBD1). I have always thought a genuine CF brake duct would work nicely if its high quality fitment. For weight reduction I have hankered after the subframe for the a/c motor in the rear.

Basically Marcus product on his website is the best guide. If you can produce it as good quality and cheaper then maybe you have a business case.

Cheers
M

Thx Macca for your input. What I have in mind are those interiors parts like door panels, console, handbrake console, gauges back panel...etc. I am also considering the Rear aerofoil too. Brake duct is a good idea, will add that to my list. Thx mate!

Subscribed. I love CF but the high high prices keep me from buying any.

I am totally with you and that's why I tried to develop a set of products for 993ers with reasonable price. So, please feel free to throw me your thoughts.

CF 964 3.8 RS tail or RS spoiler would be awesome, assuming the weight is low and the price not too dear. Not too much else interests me and not a big fan of CF interior bits.

Side mirrors would be nice. ++ on brake ducts and sunroof panel.

Some parts from this build would also be nice.

Rear seat delete. Maybe too big an item and too expensive, just know I would like one at some point and they seem to be very difficult to source.
