I have supple leather seats and sweat my *** off in them...
anyone else have this problem? I used to own an 88 coupe and loved the seats(non sport) very comfortable and cool. And to be honest ,they are not that comfortable, not easy to move around in them. However you can easily tell that it is high grade premium leather but I think I would have been better off with the stock seats.
Just venting...
thanks

I switched to cloth seats years ago....I know I will be blasted for this, but I do not like leather seats - too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter.

Why would you be blasted, Mike? I installed cloth Recaros in my previous 993 and try to go cloth any chance I have in any car. Leather is nice and smells good but it's not right material for this application, I'm with you on this.

Also, the supple leather is not perforated like the standard/sport seats. Perforated or "breathable" leather seats are said to be cooler in warm weather since air can flow easily through the material.

I have supple leather and have not experienced that problem with my ***.
Is it only in extremely hot weather or do you experience this effect even in cooler weather?
Perhaps a more suitable undergarment would help alleviate this situation! Or maybe turn on the A/C.

What do you guys do, drive around naked?!? I have black supple leather and I've never had a problem. If the car has been sitting in the sun, it's the hot air and the inability of the A/C to cool it that I notice, not so much the temperature of my butt.
