OT: Solana Beach, CA is just a horrible place
R&R for the 2nd time this month in Solana Beach---think I'll drive the 993 here next time rather than flying.

VERY nice! I had a Grandmother that lived there when I was a kid and I have extremely fond memories of going to that beach (literally) every summer!

+1, those experiences are priceless, better than any material thing.
He will always value those times he got to take a road trip with Dad.
The greatest memories of my youth are the family fishing trips. We didn't catch much that was worth talking about, but spending time with my brother, sisters and parents hooking worms, and having fun are what it is all about.
