There is a Cars & Coffee every saturday at the Carlsbad Outlet Mall. Not what Irvine is, but hey-it's a good reason to head out early Saturday. The last Saturday of a month gets more cars. A bunch of 997's, one 993 and a couple of 911's, including mine- a few F cars, a slew of Mustangs and Corvettes and some old US cars today.

Then, I went to the Secret Car Club which is in RSF on the square every Saturday @ 9. Pretty eclectic group. We had a big old Rolls, a Bentley, a real 427 Cobra, a couple of 997's, an old Alfa, a cool Euro '58 bug, a Jag or two, and a few other cars. Last week there was a Zagato bodied Aston, a original owner Buick Turbo, and a few others. We've had Bugattis, an SLS, F40, Enzo, various Porsches of all years, Panteras, Masers, etc. Low key, but usually something of great interest. And free donuts. But hey, a nice stop before heading home on Del Dios Hwy past the lake.

I'll get the 993 out next Sat morning as I lose my left arm for a coue of months due to surgery 5/12.

Hard to believe the Z32 it 20+ years old. The Z was far ahead of its time in my opinion and still look great today. I almost bought another one because they are so affordable now, but decided to go down the slippery slope of P-car ownership. No regrets!!

Ed, maybe we can work something out and I can meet up with you next Saturday?

I'd go for something Saturday morning. I need to be home by noon. The wife and I are spending the night at Aviara, so afternoon is bad.
