Welcome to the mayhem! There's a good number of us RLers here in SD (ZombiePorsche44, flatsixforme, cgfen, nickyP, Ed Hughs, sdcabrio).
I was just up at TruSpeed last weekend. Did you ever poke your head in next door at Crevier Classics? Not Pcar content, but Holy Cow was it awesome. www.crevierclassiccars.com

Thanks for the warm welcome!!
My wife is really the one who finally pushed me over the edge on purchasing the car. I was really sitting on the fence and seriously considering another Land Cruiser as I knew it was the more practical choice, especially with potential kids on the way. Man, I love her for supporting me in pursuing this dream!!
Prior to seeing this car, I thought I would end up with a Polar Silver car, but when I saw the pics and then saw it in person I knew this was the color I had to have.
Anyone have an opinion if this car is at RoW height? Its seems lower than stock, but I can't really tell in my limited experience. I know it does have the Bilstein HD shocks on it.
I knew you guys would want some pictures, but I have been working 6 days a week and haven't had a chance to take any yet. I'm working again this Saturday, so I will do my best to get some of my own pictures on Sunday.
Hopefully these pictures will suffice until the weekend...

Congrats Great looking car, slate is one of the best for sure. Funny how more than a few of us can relate to lusting after a 993 since 1995. Welcome to the madness and the never ending slope.

Congrats! very nice color. Likewise, the 993 was my poster car as I was lusting for it since college. I just got mine about a month ago and still getting too know her better. Enjoy!

Yes, it look like it's at ROW height. But with the Bilstein shocks, you can raise & lower it to just about any height.
Here is my C4 with ROW M030 set to ROW height.

Welcome and nice car! TruSpeed typically has nice cars, and yours obviously passed the PPI. Can't wait to see it in person some day.
Perfect time with our great weather finally. I did two cars & coffees this morning in the Targa. Next week, it is the 993's turn.

I wanted to poke my head in there but never did. I talked to the guys at TruSpeed and they did confirm that there were some pretty sweet rides in there. Next time I'm there I'll definitely have to stop in.
This nice weather is killing me right now since I'm at work today. Hopefully, it will hold for Sunday...

Haven't been able to get into overlanding like I really want to at this point. Work and life just haven't allowed me the time. I'm hoping in the future to be able to participate in a more meaningful manner. The search now begins for a proper overlanding vehicle. If you haven't been to ExPo you should check it out. A forum on par with RL!
