****! its the prefect car. must resist to save up for a turbo. If Ilko and Arrwin had not talked me into a 993 turbo this past weekend instead of a 993S...

GLWTS.

Forget the turbo, you can get in plenty of trouble in a "plain" C2S Chao, go for it!

I am running numbers in my head and trying to get a feel for "value."

Example: '97 993 turbo same color combo same mileage asking $55K so $15K more. Looks like a clean car and owner has a yellow 996 turbo with aero kit also.

https://rennlist.com/forums/993-turb...derson-nv.html

The pricing delta between regular C2s and turbos are typically around $20K for 996s. $25 to $30K for 993s.

I like the exclusivity of a C2S but I don't want to give up the power coming from a modded 996. For another $15K, I can get an upgrade in power and just as exclusive as well. I struggle with the $10K+ spread between a 993 C2 and C2S.

Tough decision..

Tough decision..

My figure was a little higher for PSS10's and clutch assembly including alignment and corner balance.

I was figuring on the popular setup often discussed here. Bilstein HDs I think.. PSS10 parts alone is $2500 without labor. Also while its on the right coast; Fister stage III and Golden Rod before making the trip back east...
