OK, I haven't been spending any time in the 993 section in the last little while so please excuse me if this one has been posted already. Someone in Burlington, Ontario (just across the border from Buffalo) is selling a '95 Riv blue 993 with about 70K miles. It might be interesting to investigate this further, but I'm sticking with my 911 for a while...

Yeah, the blue interior makes me wonder if the factory exterior was not RB.
Prices for Porsches on the upper side of the border do NOT compare with what's available in the US. They seem to be way over priced here in relation. Maybe people don't realize that the Canadian dollar is not at 75 cents US any longer...

Corrosion in the engine bay. Makes you wonder what else has suffered in those northern climes. Not a good presentation given the top dollar asking price. No mention of top end or clutch work either, so I guess we can assume that hasn't been done.

im interested in a rivy blue 993 for my collection, but @ $46500 it is way too strong for the miles and condition.
I would take this car for $26500![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
haul the tint off, install factory wheels and vacuum the carpet and we got a sweet little driver.
In canada, the porsches that were sold new @ dealers were subject to a weak cdn dollar at the time which reflected the MSRP and thus the resale values we see today.
Used porsches in USA can be had for less $$ then in Canada due to the abundance of examples and lower initial MSRP, but the catch still remains for Canadians that to import a USA porsche into Canada it is subject to a 6.1% tax plus importation process and fees on top of the purchase price.....

Sergio... That made my day!
If he's expecting $46,000 for that car I'm going to up the selling price of my targa to $50,000 because my car is vaccumed!
Blue and OEM dirt is not a $10,000 premium. Good luck to him. It will make my sale that much easier. :-)

Seriously bothers me when people present a car for sale in this fashion. I would have highly detailed the car, including buying new OEM floor mats, taken the tint off the windows, front signals and rear lights and thrown on a set of OEM wheels. Guaranteed the car would have sold within a week!
