I'm super proud of you, Ad! Now that Ruby is taken care of, can we revisit those posts about jewelry for me?!?

Thanks for all the kind words!

I wanted to make one last picture post on this thread. All my hard work was to get ready for an AX this past weekend (at least that was the goal). Well, I did it and got the car all back together in time. The car was simply awesome! I had to take some pictures of her all decked out the morning of the event. Ruby looks mean

And her in action...this was a fun and fast sweeper where if you lifted slightly in the middle of the turn you could get the car to rotate nicely while getting back to full throttle...kind of a high speed pitch 'n catch. The photographer here got a good shot of me in mid slide/rotation. I love this stuff

I have seen the car on the track before and after all of Adam's work and the transformation is incredible! The car is much faster and seems to be much more stable and planted especially on exit.

And congrats to Adam on beating my **** Saturday!

Cheers,
Joel Bowman

Thanks Joel! You are perceptive, the car was more stable on exit...I suspect that with rear end tighter there is less weight moving around to upset the balance when on the edge. And as far as me edging you out, I know you'll have something more for me next time! I think it was you that told me...you're only as good as your last race

Haha, I sold my stock in 3M so I don't use it anymore! I'd like to be able to say it's because I don't hit cones anymore but then I'm reminded of my grand finish a couple races ago where I mowed down 9 cones as I slid through the finish line sideways I did get a standing ovation from some onlookers! That's an 18 second penalty folks and a personal record!

Funny you say this, I'm having some guys come over this weekend that want to do the same thing so I'm tossing them the keys to test out the "new" Ruby! If you are up for a roadtrip, c'mon over!
