I bought a pair from fellow RL member and installed them last night. Figured it was worth a trial run since the car is still up on jack stands awaiting rims and a few other goodies.
After about 15 minutes removing the nearly new OE exhaust with MotorSound tips, then another 10 minutes of quick cleanup and 20 minutes installing the Supercups I too am sold.
I fired up the car and was nearly startled by the initial "BRAP" that echoed in the garage.
I placed a shop light under the car to see if there were any exhaust leaks (condensationon a cool spring night) and listened to the engine warm up as the tone changed to a low, throaty gurgle. Once at temp, I blipped the throttle a few times and HOLY MOTHER OF ALL THINGS HOLY, the car sounds mean.
After I had my fill, I promptly turned the car off and put my tools away with a huge grin on my face. No doubt I will break them out again to remove the system to have the tubes repolished soon enough. (I am the thrid owner of these particular pipes)
I am not counting on much of a HP gain if any, but really doesnt matter. Just looking forward to getting the car on the ground and letting the dogs loose at WOT.
Thank you Martin. You are a great man to work with and a credit to our little Band of Brothers and my neighbors thank you Mr. Fabspeed.

They are indeed brutal. In a fantastic way. My exhaust is coming off in a few weeks while the car is in the air and I look forward to starting the car at night and listening to the symphony...

I love reading posts like this. As the person who sold these to MartinS (yes indeed - one cool guy) let me give you a history of where your pipes have been and the journey they've taken.
I bought my car with the supercups on it from someone in Indianapolis, I flew down and drove the car back to Ottawa 16hrs straight! A year later I replace the supercups with Fister Stage III's (very awesome). The supercups go up for sale on rennlist and MartinS and I work out a trade plus cash to him for his RS splitters and RS tail. Pipes get shipped to him in California, he uses them on the track and then changes his set up - so up for sale they go again on rennlist and off they are shipped to SC to put smiles on another 993 owner's face - and frowns on the faces of his neighbours...![evilgrin](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/evilgrin.gif)
So - N.J. to Indy to Ottawa to Cali to S.C. - pretty cool. Enjoy!
