Finally the wheels are on... PICS :)
And oh yea...... I bought a RS wing and decklid pre-painted ( thanks AL Z) Its the easiest way to do a basket handle delete!
FINALLY i have the wheels on the car and took some pics for you guys. They look amazing IMO. The car has had the Bilstein HD/M030 on for a couple months now and I had the car in for an alignment and ride height tweak to RS +10. I think the car could be a tad lower... but overall I think its a great compromise since the car is a DD. I measured and in is infact within the RS+10 spec but I swear some of you guys are much lower running the same thing.
For those who dont know.. the wheels were built by Jim Dorociak. They are Speedline Daytonas (originally made for Techart) 8.5'' Front (~ET46) x 10.5 Rear (~ET 56) as a custom offset. I had Jim paint the centers Stahlgrau which is the color Porsche used for the 993 GT2 centers. After measuring a ton... we decided to change the configurations of the wheels for a maximum rear lip. This ended up giving me a 2.5'' lip which looks closer to 3'' from the bolts.
Thanks so much to Jim, Macca, Cabrio993, aribop, and Darin for answering all my stupid questions
Now for the pics:

thanks and wow... coming from you with your car that is quite the complement. Love your RS wheels. I will do the 3rd brake light when I finish the rs goodies off.... still need to decide what brand splitters to get. Then I need to get some Stage IIs, shave the front bumperettes and then some interior mods. Haha... coming from a guy that was going to keep his car stock. Rennlist is the devil
Sure thing... Jims email address is jdorociak@gmail.com
