That looks awesome, congrat's!

I just put two-and-two together and realized Stahlgrau is the color used on the accents for the Vesuvious 993s (confirmed by a post from Macca.) Too cool.

Super hot!
I like the detail of the "Speedline"lettering on the lips, and Stahlgrau color choice. Great job.

Hey--question about lip depth. You mentioned that you could alter the wheel configuration/depth, to increase the lip depth. How much more depth can you get (is 2.5" maximum)?
So do you change the inner and outer rim barrels?

I really think that depends on the wheel centers and other factors as well. With my wheels we used 8'' rear inners with a 2.25'' outer hoop for the rears to make the 10.5''. Then Jim used a 7'' inner and 1.25 outer hoop for the fronts to make the 8.5''. With this setup I couldnt have gone any wider to get more lip. Macca has a 10'' setup with a slightly lower ET and I think his rear lip might be a tad bigger than mine.

Hi Ryan,

I think mine are same as yours with 2.5" outside hoop. 10.5" total but ET 54 insteam of ET56 (although I may shortly have 3-4mm removed from the inside centre by lathe as Im looking to go RS height and suspect I may get some running anly lower on teh curret config). Im running 265 rubber and its much more stretched than the 285 (again for extra saftey on clearance due to lower ride height) - so I think that plus our current height differences give the illusion of a deeper dish thats all.

They sure look great these 3 piece wheels on your car and work well with the silver paint. Nice work!

Cheers
M

Drop dead gorgeous perfect. So nice.

Jim is a class act and is THE person to buy or refurbish these types of wheels...
