I got 4300K color temp, very white, no blue.

As far as the shaving, that is relatively common, many have had to widen the opening a bit, others didn't have to at all. It is a minor bit of work with a file.

Stock looking 4300k. I don't like going much higher up the color temps.

Currently fog lights, (after market turbo style vents) are used as daytime running light (Canada eh!)Any comments on running H3 conversion in Turbo vents (heat etc) because they will allways be on when the car is on. The stock lights that came with aftermarket vents cracked and burnt within a few months of install. I'm thinking they heat up so much that a car wash water was too much for them. It should'nt be the case but I don't know what else? Also, can a guy convert high, low and fogs to HID? Whats the downside (enough space) or just way to corny?

Very nice. I bought the same off ebay after reading your thread. Looks great, and need to install myself.

Any hiccups or wisdom on your install to share?

Very Easy to install, the bulb is slightly larger than OEM Bulb, so you just need to file a bit. Also need to bend the pin to hold the new bulb in place. The first install took about 20 mins to figure out. The second took 5

you get what you pay for IMO. My 5 year old japanese HID's houred out recently and after much research I plunked down $250 for a genuine Phillips kit (as good or better than most OEM's). Night and day difference (pun intended). Two thumbs way up for this upgrade.
