Take a look a DDM Tuning. $30 for their lights. Also, I would go with 4500s.

+1 on DDM. My 35 watt 5000K bulbs are nearly white; 6000s will likely have some blue tint.

+1 DDM. Not sure if they discontinued the slim ballast kits, but I don't see them anymore. The Raptor kit is the standard "thick" ballast kit.

you can get a better deal than that, just search HID H1 kit and maybe add the color temp to filter it down.

The last kit I bought I got for about $40 over 2 years ago. The kit I got for the 993 is about 4 years old.

Definitely look for the slim ballasts, then search the archives for HID installation.
One of the best value upgrades you can do.

+1 for DDM. Been using my 5K 35 watters for the past 6 months. Best bang for the buck mod I've done.

For the DDM kit, do you need to add the dual in/out harness ($12.50) to the kit purchase?
Do you need their brackets ($4)?

Since the DDM bulb housing was a little too large for the opening in headlight I had to shave a little material away with a dremel. The pin that holds the bulb in place also had to bent to accommodate the HID unit. No big deal. Everything else, cables, ballast etc slots neatly into the headlight unit. Its a very clean install.

+1 I didn't have to shave anything. Just a littel wiggling and the bulb went in perfectly.

Same here. Just be careful not the scratch the bulb or it may not last long.

It does appear from their website that DDM no longer sells the slim design ballast. Can anyone confirm that the larger "Raptor" ballast fits inside the headlight assembly without problems?

I would doubt the raptor will fit. It was tight enough in there even with the slim ballast. There's quite a lot of wiring, a capacitor(?) and the ballast to manoever around quite a small space, plus get the housing cover to slot into place. Maybe with careful wire organization it might....
