Hi Mark,

Any more details? Have you inspected the car, and what are the maintenance records like? What condition is the top in?

Cheers,

Mike

Looks like it is priced to sell. Any issues with the car (current or history)?

Hey Mike... I asked about service records and there isn't much from the prior owner. I am pretty sure my relative is the 2nd owner. He has taken care of it and has records including the 60K service.

I have not inspected (PPI-like) it but have seen it over the years... he has taken good care of it. You should see where it lives. It is always "garaged" and covered... but garaged is really "indoors". His home has an addition that is his photo studio which includes the garage area. The 993 lives there.

None that he is aware of.
He bought from the first owner some years back, a neighbor down the street. No story that I am aware of.

If anyone wants it straight from the horses mouth, feel free to shoot him an email. Otherwise, I'll do my best to answer questions.

Just got a pic of the "garage" from him
It goes back another 30 feet or so to the roll up door.

You'd think a person would give their 993 a larger flat panel TV... this borders on abuse!

As a pro photographer, you'd think he'd have a few photos available.

Oh, wait ... LOL http://achillephoto.com/911/

I've sold more than a few Porsches online, and it's always fun to get the guy who wants you to shoot photo after photo of various details at various angles as the process moves along, he's definitely got THAT covered. Beautiful car.

Hey Mark, I'm trying to convince my brother to buy this - but he's looking at a 2002 Maserati Spyder. I know why he should buy this one - got any good arguments as to why he should avoid the Maserati?

ps - not to hijack, but when are we going to see an add for yours?

heya Steve... I don't know, these are two very different animals, for sure.
I know that the running costs will be considerably higher on the Maserati, in general.

We recently did a brake job on an '05 QP and the rotors and pads (if you were to go with OEM) were >$3K. Ouch!

I hope to have my act together to properly list mine for sale this Spring. I have a lot to do... new tires for the Cup IIs that will go on it, proper photos inside, outside and underneath, pull together all of the records, etc.
