Default "Last" NB 993 coupe?

There's lots of info around about the "last 993s" produced. Last for US/Canadian market were produced in December 0f 1997, last for ROW a few months later. These were either Widebody coupes or NB cabriolets.

Narrow body coupes , however, ceased being available shortly into the 97 production run, at least in North America. I haven't seen much if any later than 10/96. Does anybody have any info on exactly when the last NB coupes were produced for both North America and ROW?

No idea. But I suspect Jerry Seinfeld has it and uses it as a doorstop at his garage

Only if it's been lowered.

As Mr. Moffat mentioned, there's lots of info around about the "last 993s" produced, Widebody coupes.
Much more information @ this '98 Mexico Blue 993 is on RLer (Scott) Bradford's "Just another day driving to the office (Seinfeld 993 pics)" thread.

IIRC, a RLer took this photo during a museum tour. Note the build date: March 31, 1998.

...However, while we're veering dangerously off-course I'll be glad to help with photos I've been looking for > a year. Just found 'em yesterday, & they're now posted on the end of above said thread.

Mexico Blue '98 C4S was the last 993 produced, & it was ROW / Euro.
Before that was made, this 993 was the last factory-made to USA DOT specs...

This is a once in a life time opportunity to acquire a very special Porsche. It is a one owner 911 C2S with only 5,800 original miles that was built for Porsche's best US customer. It has the distinction of being the last air cooled 911 to leave the factory for the US market. The car features a one of a kind 911 badge on the back engine lid because Porsche wanted to do something special for the last US 911. This car features a very special option package including, yellow brake calipers, yellow belts, carbon fiber and tons of leather. Standard options include: Wheel caps with colored crest, power seats, sound plus, supple leather, metal door sills, motor sound package, tiptronic transmission, 18" technology wheels, and plaque from Porsche stating the last 993 to leave the factory for the US market. Origial MSRP: $119,947.00

Tim-- As we get closer to being back on subject: you have any links to the last cabriolet you reference?

(...as opposed to WB cabs? Hey, opportunity for another favorite diversion!) One of the last 5 WB cabriolets produced [insert another 'evilgrin' smiley here], from JPP's "Quintuplet arrives home" thread:

OK, I almost had an excuse for the above pics, but now this, THIS is just uncalled for...

Although originally purchased by Seinfeld, the Blue Turquoise 993 Turbo S was not a last 993 produced, AFAIK.

It was later owned by RLer spg993tt, & now calls RLer sansh2o 'daddy.'
Here are August 2010 shots, when the happy new owner let his blue baby be seen with RL commoners even let me inside her, STS.

My recently sold C4 (RoW) was registered in May 1997, not sure when it was manufactured though. VIN ended VS314745.

Tim/Allen-- Similar to what Allen's starting is the concept behind Leland Pate's massive 35-page thread "Post yer VIN!." Although its stated purpose is only to identify siblings on the assembly line, may be wonderful if its resources could be cross-referenced for your goal.

If it possibly helps, I've lopped off 993s produced before Nov '96 from Erik (rsr91128)'s recent update. Probably not enough info by itself, but may help your search gain momentum or get you rolling the right direction. Good luck!

I find myself second to the last so far on this list...and that black CarreraS was made "Special" with a Tipronic transmission??? How can WS321327 be made after WS321333 or even WS321339?

Exclamation 993 factory delivery date: October, 2001!

My last post re: one of Seinfeld's ^^ 'last' 993s. (Can I get away with saying, "Jeff started it"? )
This 993 was produced from the factory's "Exclusive" division in Oct '01, & could be construed to be a "last." However, that was its 2nd 'build' date.

From the "Speedster type 993 photo thread:"

1998/2001 993 Speedster of Jerry Seinfeld

The second 993 Speedster of 2 made by Porsche - Jerry Seinfeld's Speedster - was a conversion of a 993 that he already had.
Jerry sent the car from America back to Germany. Its conversion to widebody Speedster was finalized in October 2001.

As can be seen from the photo, it has the higher "american" suspension. High suspension could be practical for everyday car, but this showpiece should be as low as grass for the maximum impact...

The car was initially delivered with 996-style 3-spoke steering wheel, but was later changed back to 993-style 4-spoke.
