Default Arena Red 993 C2S Cab in Reno is back!

I saw this on craigslist, looks like the same one that was discussed here a while ago. I called the dealer up and the car is originally from SoCal , no idea if it was an original Beverly Hills Porsche car.

CN,

It's a widebody, not sure if it's one of the Beverly Hills cars, if it is in fact one of them $48k would be a great price.

Wow.
Lots of nice options on car from SS door sills to white face gauges to motorsound airbox and hard back seats.
How do you find out if it is one of the BH Porsche conversions? Did the dealership keep the VIN #'s?

It is a Beverly Hills conversion. I called and they told me they were asking 49.9K. They car has quite a few options and should make someone a great car.

Jim,

When I called them yesterday about the car, they had no idea about the BHP cars until I told them. They had only said the car was from SoCal, Bell, Ca.

Since I had one, I knew what to look for. The original warranty book said Beverly Hills Porsche and the options were in line with the ones from BHP. If you wanted to be sure, you could call 1-800-porsche, give them the VIN and they will tell you the dealership it was delivered.

The reason I feel confident, he said the car had paint ridges around the inside door around the rear quarter panel. These ridges were not that noticable, but you could feel them. That was exactly what mine had. I am sure all of them were apinted in the same manner.

Do you think they would sell me just the seats? Those are EXACTLY the seats I want!!!

Is it odd to anyone else that the shifter and ebrake (Black vs. Classic grey) don't match the rest of the interior?

Can someone educate me on the Beverly Hill's Porsche cab story? How does that raise value, etc.?

Thanks.
