Default What size flare nut wrench to bleed brakes?

Sorry for the dumb question, but I am about to place a tool order and thought I could add a good flare nut wrench. 7mm? 11mm?

the wrench I use is a 10/11mm combination...not sure which end I use, but betting on the 11mm.

Pretty sure it's 11. Just checked the 968 and it is.

+7 is confusing, Rick!

Order the full set, they do come in handy when doing brake hoses and such.

The bleed screws are 11 mm and you don't need to use a flare nut wrench on them; an 11 mm box end is what I use.

I use my flare wrench because I found the clearances to the caliper were too small for my regular wrenches. You likely have nicer tools than I .

11mm for calipers .... but don't forget the 7mm for the clutch slave cylinder - for the complete bleed set : box ends work well, though a flare would do as well.

11mm, just did my rear today. Personally I use a 6 point 1/4" drive (deep) socket to break the bleed screw loose and then use what's usually called a Ignition Wrench (very small wrench set) to open and close the bleed screw. Then use the 1/4" drive socket to snug the screw back up.

I have 3 sets of ignition wrenches and they all came from Sears (Craftsman).

I was Plannning to order Hazet, so I don't want to take out a loan to get the full set

Thanks guys. I knew I didn't need a flare nut wrench for the bleeding, but knew it was an odd size and thought I could go ahead and get the correct one in case of any other brake work.
