I think it is now:
Targagr --> Van Larson --> Gerry Kokoszka --> Nile13/Christian J --> JPS --> C2Cab95--> jimb03--> Scott Waldrup --> Gunter --> Marc Shaw --> sawitt -->
Correct?

Pretty close ... Scott, skip over Gunter to Marc ..... as the kit should pass your way long before Gunter's est. April date ...

Absolutely, especially if we can put them on a lift to do the pinning. The only issue is that I'm planning to be the hell outta here in January and February, so let's see when its's our turn.

I am in full agreement with Chaoscreature. Pinning the tie rods produces a subtle improvement in steering response, but not much. I still have play in my steering wheel, which must be in the rubber bushings and perhaps the rack & pinion system. Not sure. I will attempt to tighten up the rack a little and plan on replacing the A arm bushings with the Walrod bushings. Hopefully, those two items will produce a step change improvement in steering feel.

Re the steering rack mounts, there is little opportunity to improve upon the OE mounts, as they amount to a thin skim of high modulus rubber ( ~1/16") when torqued correctly under the aluminum caps. If the bolts are loose, the car is unlikely to maintain any straight line stability ...or have other evil handling attributes

If the LCR bushings are degraded, IMHO, that will effectively mask any benefit you should realize from pinning the tie rods: if not, curious to know what you find.

It's probably safe to say that my LCR bushings are trash, since they appear to be original and the car has 105k on it! This is a winter project here in Chicago!

OK I can't tell who has this in their possession at present. When I contacted Van he hadn't received it. Status please.
Thanks to all involved,
Gerry Kokoszka

It would appear that either dsmyth or Targagr should have it if Van Larson does not.
