That is crap! I can build you one for like $80.
The worst part is the drinks will be right @ your right elbow, one fast shift, & you knock over the drinks. Plus I don't want to have to contort to get my drink, or put it back. You will get drink all over your seats & back seats with this. Also the holders do not hold things very well.
There is 1 drink holder that works in the 993, & it's the metal one that goes on the passenger side seat rail. It is a HIGH G holder, & has not let me down. However, if you have a passenger, they will need to move their leg every time you want a drink. Could be fun on a date, but not fun when riding with your buddies.

I think I have solved the cup holder problem:
Option 1 - What THE HELL are you doing with a hot cup of coffee, while driving a monster.. It will turn around and bite you...
Option 2 - So you REALLY need to have that lattee? Ok here you go:
Take one regular size shoe box, yes that's right.... a shoe box. Tape it shut with tape. Place your favorite beverage cup on top and trace a circle for each cup. (unless you have huge feet, one box will hold up to 2 drinks side by side). Cut out the holes. What I did was actually not cut out the circle, but cut the hole into pizza slices, a little bigger then what you need, and leave the 'slices' attached to the box, Take your favorite latte beverage and check for fit. Cut the slices back if needed. Place it in the passenger side foot area.., Done!
The benefit here is that a normal shoe box has a fairly large base, and unless you are drinking the 80oz big gulp, it will never get top heavy and fall over. It will also slide nicely, when you hit a corner, and still stay up.

This is outrageous. I can visit a boat supply dealer and get the same separate cup holders for $2. Then all you need to do is make an insert to fit into the existing cup holder (could even use wood and paint) and screw the individual cup holders into it.
I just realized, maybe someone here bought it. Sorry...

Fantastic design, have one in my 993 too. Well worth the $!

+1 for the Inventiva. There seems to be two camps: those that think anyone using a cupholder in a 993 should have the car taken away from them, and those that occasionally want to drink (black) coffee while they drive, say, to work in the morning and are smart enough not to drive like a maniac while doing so. I love my Inventiva cupholder and use it frequently, but not always. I would much rather have it and not use it than not have it. Burgers, fries and sodas, No.
