Default Preview of my new wheels....

So, I am having our friend Jim Dorociak build me a custom set of wheels and I am having a hard time deciding on wheel center color - so I wanted to ask you guys your thoughts. I love the bright Porsche silver but dont want to clash with the blue tones in the polar silver. I love the GT2 color wheel centers as well but havent really seen any narrow bodys with that combo so its hard to tell. What do you guys think? Stay with the brighter RS silver color or go with the GT2 color? Keep in mind the car will soon have some RS bits on it but the wheels will have a much more aggressive offset/lip size than the 993RS wheels do

It might be considered old school, but I like the silver.

I like the darker centers for the better brake dust hiding qualities.

I have two other colors I have used, and thought I should include them for the group to weigh in and get your thoughts. I painted a set of Daytona wheels with a very dark heavy metallic grey/almost black. The other color is the one I use when I paint the Speedline 3.6 Turbo and RH Turbo wheels. It it a deeper metallic grey. jdorociak@gmail.com Jim

Just to add some detail. The factory RS wheels are very close to Polar silver. The centres have a slight tinto to them. The GT2 uss Steel grey metallic P61W for its centres. This is a pearl style metallic grey.

Cheers

Thanks Macca, also for all the help you gave me with all of my questions as well - very helpful. Was P91W the only factory GT2 color? I see variations of colors as I search for pics of the wheels. I know they did body color wheel centers on some of the Rs's but not sure about the GT2
