Default FS: 993 Turbo-look solid spoke C4S front wheels

For Sale:
2 - C4S front wheels, turbo-look solid spoke
993.362.136.01
8x18-ET52
$200 for the pair (shipped) (OBO...just want them out of the garage)

Last time I shipped a wheel it was ~$25 (from San Diego to WA state), so the wheels are effectively $75 each....what a bargain, that is a bargain for you, I think you should buy them!

Wheels have been repainted and look to be slightly different than factory silver color. I sold one rear wheel from the set to Nollie, so perhaps he can comment on the color variation from his other wheels if he reads this post... Some road rash (see pic link). Definitely not perfect, but they are straight, true, and never leaked air through several sets of tires I had on them.

Pics show fairly dirty wheels...if you're interested I can clean them up and take more pics.

Please help me clean out the garage!

A bump to the top to get these things out of my garage to make space for working on the car!!!
If price is out of line, let me know and we will talk about it.
edit: Price drop to help move them....

Happy New Year to all!

Already got one of the rears that has a nice crack in it waiting to be a hose reel. Nollie has the other rear and for sale are the remaining fronts. They need a new home.

bumpity bump.
Bueller?
I'm starting to think I'll just have to take the two wheels and make a coffee table instead of selling them...

I'm thinking a nice burlwood block (24" x 48") with 2 recesses for the wheels to drop into with a recessed glass top. Or two end tables, perfect for the mancave. (We'll ignore the cost of the giant wood block for the moment...)

OR, does a 993 clock fit in the center of a wheel?

^^^I was kidding as I wrote that last one, but I'm sure this will start the AOW idea-hamster wheel spinning...

Hey, I've got a bent front that economically rendered my set useless.

Either I can take 'em IF I can figure out whether it's worth it to make them work on the 968 (only so many spacers laying around), OR if someone wants two passable rears we can get a whole set shipped out.

Idea Hamster Wheel (IHW) just came to a rest after inserting a 993 clock into the center-cap opening of a spare MY02 wheel. Result? A clock will fit with very little machining. Cut the wheel barrel off at the same depth as the hub face and have a Wall Wheel Carrera Clock.

Ken, let me know if you want them. Otherwise, i'm up for the "build-a-set" approach to selling them. I'd just like to clear them out and make some room!

Andreas

I'm thinking that's gonna be one heavy clock to hang on the wall! Now you could prop one up on the floor in the corner of the room perhaps. Hmmm, or....perhaps slicing the wheel by removing the inner portion of the wheel would make it thinner/lighter for wall hanging.
