today's fall photo's
quick trip up to a local city park-Mt. Hope Reservoir was a former municipal water supply dating back to 1883. It officially became a city park in 2001 after a pretty good fight with the city administration at the time. A period renovation of the earthern dam, spillway, and lower valve house was done with a State Emergency Management Grant. It is on the State and National Register of Historic Places.
It's a 64 acre narrow ravine, containing two water impoundments, with great fishing, and 3-4 miles of hiking/mountain biking trails-very technical and challenging.
My father in law was the photographer-he has some new all singing all dancing Sony camera. I have some spectacular panoramic's also. Here's a handful of the 24 pic's...
Enjoy!

Joe,
Completely jealous, beautiful car and surrondings.
Have to agree with the official rennlist picture hound, MORE AND BIGGER!!! the left rear quarter shot by the lake is awesome.
I just looked again, they are all rear pic's. Are you the ASSMAN?

I just reread the launch article from excellence feb 94 and couldn't believe the terrible opinions from the author.
The bold print is referring to a rear quarter picture and if you read the paragraph above it you will probably scratch your head like I did (and this was about a narrow body).
"Not the best angle" and "breadth of butt" what an asshat. The whole article is filled with negative comments, kinda like we make about the 996's

Love the photo's. Keep'em coming.
As a far as the Excellence article - the opinions of the author was way off on that one. The rear shot with the bulging fenders is one of the best angles for the 993. I consistently get "what year is that Porsche?" and I love the shape - and mines only a NB. The look of our 993's is one of the reasons it's so sought after.

^^Nice shots.
I totally agree that the rear angle is the BEST ANGLE by far. Has anyone ever noticed when people stop to talk about your car, they naturally migrate to standing in the REAR and staring at it. Hmmmm....funny.
