^ Thats a big Yep as this car when finished will then go WIDE - please wait for the aero states

Here is a vid to be discussed later from my business partners side which he is involved in - these cars are built from NOTHING except tyres (blank sheet start):

Gorgeous 993 work Mark, I can't wait to hear about and see your choice of wheels.

Ah and if only those 968 spoilers were more affordable, hint, hint. nudge, nudge, wink, wink group buy...

This is as cool as I thought it would be. Just confirms my earlier (and unresponsive) post: https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...-uk-rlers.html

With rear bumpers like that, you HAVE to modify the ducktail!!!

Hey Mark, thought you must have emigrated; not seen you around for a while - now I know why if you've been locked away with the latest project!
Suppose you could have taken on an easy rebuild - but if you're going to do something, do it large!

Hi Gent and thanks for all the great comments

^Hi Graham how are you mate Yes I’ve been crazy busy as always and on top of that the main reason I’ve not seen you is because James (The ****) has barred me from the Kings Arms (a life sentence) – I’ll PM you later for an explanation so now drinking in the Coach & Four

Progress has moved fast today even though I’ve only spent 5 hours on the car ... we sprayed down the stripes in the morning, quick bake and applied 4 coats of clear coat followed by a long back after letting the paint self-level for an hour first before wet sanding followed by a quick compound (we will do this properly in Switzerland at our Swizöl Pflegecenter (www.swizolpflegecenter.ch).

It simply amazes me that a car with the price tag of the Sport Classic has cheap sticker stripes

Anyway here is the real deal from today

Back to home and the top build-up starts at last This weekend I will refurbish all the satin black window frames etc. Monday wheels go for powder satin black (these are only temp. wheels). Callipers already powder coated and fully rebuilt in Yellow so some nice shiny parts to bolt on - but a hell of a lot of spending to do as we have only chipped an ice cube of the iceberg as far as this project goes

Best regards,
Mark

I admire the work so far, but I can't help but ask, wouldn't it have been cheaper to part out the original damaged car and put the effort into a car without a slavage title?

It does look very nice so far!

Didn't know that about the adhesive stripes on the SC. Great work, brilliant!
