If you can't see it then you don't know what a raised spoiler out the rear window looks like.
I purposely look once in a while to see if it's up or not. All you do is look out the rear view mirror. It's simple. It's either up or it's not.
Bottom line is you either want the module or you don't. Whether it's worthless or not is up to the individual.

All this debate over personal preference. Interesting. If my memory serves me, and sometimes it doesn't, didn't the module for euro cars go up at 120KMH/75MPH? I remember, trusting my old brain again, reading an article circa 1988 (964 C4 intro time) that stated the "rise" speed of the spoiler was lowered on North American models so the spoiler could be viewed as "effective" at legal speeds.

OK, I'm waiting on a new quote from Michael at RUF. I've never organized one of these group buys before, but my instinct is to gather everyones email addresses to everyone who is seriously interested and email RUF with everyone cc'd so everyone is on the same page. Cool?
Right now I've told them we have about 9 people interested so I'm waiting for a revised quote.

To answer the question "How come some people can see the spoiler and some can't?" The basket handle blocks the view of the spoiler. If you have a basket handle, you can't see the spoiler. If you don't, you can.
Thank you and good night.
