RUF Spoiler Control Module

I don't think they require a core. I believe they use a new factory module and re-program it. I bought mine w/o a core exchange.

Guys I don't have the number anymore but there is a place that will reprogram your stock unit to whatever speed up/down you desire for $115. I posted this a while back if someone can find it.

Cactus, we'd all like to have that if you can provide it.
There definately was a core requirement that would have put the spoiler out of commission for an undetermined amount of time (we were told RUF works at their own pace on these things). RUF does not keep completed modules in stock. The shipping costs were pretty steep too for getting them there and back. All that considered, the anticipated "discount" just didn't make the deal worthwhile. The RUF rep was very honest and forthcoming--thankfully. We could have gotten into a real SNAFU without that.
I'd love to have your reference.

Yeah, I still regret that deal falling apart.
I wonder, with all the knowledge around here, how come no one has dwelled into that module and found the one part to change? I can't believe it is rocket science for an electronician.

A big thanks to TheBen for trying to put this together.
If we find someone to reprogram them for $115 then the final outcome will have been worth the journey.

I think this is the place. Call or email them because it was 2 years or so since I inquired. You send them your unit and they set the up/down speed to whatever you desire.

Interesting. I was never asked to send my original in. I have both now.
p.s., just looked at my invoice. Nothing about a core exchange.
