New 993 Gadget - the LED desk sign
#48
Guys, I am so happy you like those. I am so glad you are enjoying those "toys"
As Andreas said, I am now very likely to run more batches. I put down on my list the names of the people who expressed interest in the signs either on this thread or through PM. I will get back to you when I am ready to cut.
For the moment, the CNC machine is down for some upgrades (we pushed it hard lately...) but we should resume operations within a couple or three weeks. Remember, we have regular jobs, and this is a homemade CNC machine, so we are working on it during weekends mostly... when we can
But while the machine is down, and since my friend is the one doing the upgrade, I have some free time on my hands. So I have been working on a few CAD files and I can tell you that soon, I should add a few models to the list of available cars. Here is the list of models I have "ready to cut" for tests:
- Porsche 904 with "Carrera GTS" script (can't wait to see this one!)
- Porsche 930
- Porsche 993 TT with Turbo S front splitter
and I am starting to work on a Porsche 356C Coupe CAD file.
Just to give you some updates
Benoit

Benoit,
I will take one of the Twin Turbo with the Turbo S front lip. That is my exact car, except I have RUF wheels, but I can live without those unless it is easy to change wheels!
Can you light the sign in red LED's though? That would make it perfect for me.

Update:
I have been able to locate a local place which sells all kinds of woods, local and exotic woods. Chances now are that I can do almost any kind of wood base you want. Of course, those special wood bases will be an option and the cost will be accordingly to the rarity of the wood (don't expect an Ebony base for cheap...)
Examples:
- Maple, Walnut, Red Oak, etc (common species): +$15
- Bubinga, Sipo, Leopard: +$25
I'm gonna try to cut a base out of Sipo for myself
