3 weeks and still no car!
I've been waiting for 3 weeks now for my new car to be picked up by the carrier and still no date for pick-up! I finally lost it on them on Friday and am giving them until Monday to get this resolved. I've been bringing at least one car a year into Canada for the past 10 years and have never had a problem before. I may have to ship it to Buffalo and drive it across the border....Sorry, just needed to vent a little

Thanks Paul. Yeah, there's nothing like having your car paid in full and having no idea when you are going to receive it! Luckily, it's in good hands with the PO...

Just heard from them and they promise to get it this weekend. They are having some issues, so I will cut them some slack and not disclose the company...for now. If they don't get it by Monday that will change

That's good news! As an FYI, I just brought an Audi RS4 in. I looked to TFX as I had used them in the past and they were fine to deal with. I think their biggest problem is a lack of trucks leading to long time-lines. I ended up using Reliable to the border - I think they are running 150+ trucks criss-crossing the US.
Best of luck this weekend - hope she's home soon.

Hey Zedder
Were they in possession of the car this whole time or just unable to pick it up?
Anyways, good luck.
btw, I am going to be in Toronto may 15-16 on business. I plan on going to Oakville for some good food and hanging out...if so I'll be in touch. would love to compare whose arena red is shinier!!!

Mark,
Been there before. The problem this time of year is that all of the snow birds have been returning from the south to Canada and have had their cars shipped. This was the excuse that they used for the delays in picking up my car.
Good luck, I know the felling, you just can't wait to drive it.

Good news...TFX picked the car up this evening and should have it here Tues or Wed! Much better communication since we "discussed" the issues last week
Andy, drop me an email if you are going to be out this way. You are more than welcome to drop by. Give me some notice if possible as the weekends are quite full taking the kids to various events...
We also have a local P-car get together on Sat mornings at 10 am 'till noon at the Chapters across from Sherway Gardens. Great turn-out most Saturdays.

Zedder...I am glad your car is on the way. I really like the front fascia! Really helps man-up the front end. I will e mail you a couple days before and see if you are going to be around when I'm "free". I am going to be at a seminar so UNFORTUNATELY can't do the morning/day events. Post your own picts when your car arrives.
