Sorry to hear about this. I hope you get it straightened out soon.
When you check on the window make sure the battery is on the charger too. I'd also have Andreas standing by with the potato gun in case things get ugly. You could bolt it to the top of the truck and do a drive-by. FIRE IN THE HOLE!

One last thought sir... ask them to NOT spray more layers of paint onto your parts until they have a match that you have agreed to.
And beg them to sand off the color and clear they already sprayed.

Sad to hear of your troubles Cactus. Andreas, practice your aim with the potato gun.
PS: The GR clear/no clear issue continually pops up. From my understanding, ALL GR 993s produced for the 95 model year were not clear coated. It's also my understanding that the switch to clear coat was made sometime during the 993s production life.

Resist any suggestion to blend the bumper color into the panels ... they can make a perfect match to the existing body panels (even polar silver)
My car was in the shop for 30 days (yes, with the same battery and shop dust issues) and the final result was worth the trouble ...

Just to reiterate what others have said - It can be matched.
My rear quarter panel was painted last summer and they did a fantastic job matching the color. They did not blend adjacent panels. If I look at it in just the right light and squint a little, I can barely detect a difference but probably could not had I not known if was refinished.
And yes, the new paints are all with a clearcoat. As long as the car remains waxed, I don't think you will have any issue with the two paint types on your car.
If they haven't already, push the body shop to call upon all of their resources (paint suppliers, salesman, associate body shops, etc) to figure this out.

They found a sample they liked so went back to the booth today. Now they said don't worry we'll get a match no matter what which I wish they would have said last week.
