It is interesting to read the posts in this thread, it shows how the contributor interprets the essence/aplication of the 993 as a whole.

I like the bodywork on most of em (a bit biased) but some of the graphics are a bit odd.

Interesting that the flat black on the Bordeaux car has some wine color undertones. I read somewhere that the flat black coming out of the RWB body shop is changed slightly between cars.

Okay, I'll bite, who is Ruah Welt? I know there's some serious machinery there but the interiors look like crap.

Rauh Welt is a body / track prep shop that uses a lot of parts from Sunburst of Japan.

It seems there is another tuner doing the mechanical work, I may be wrong.

By the time I scrolled to the end, I noticed that the whole parking lot snow had melted.

I have long been a fan of Rauh Welt...the snowy / icy conditions and those fat meats in those pics are a little scary though...

They make some amazing cars (understatement). And they drive them and drive them hard!

All business, no country club.
correct - japanese tuner noted for aggressive approach to wide bodies.
home page is here (they have an english link, but "under construction")
the link to "garrely" is link to gallery of some of their work.
http://www.rauh-welt.com/OpenTop.html

and they do offer body only installations like here
http://www.rauh-welt.com/964GT.html
but expensive at JPY1.8 million (about US$ equivalent $20,000)

you can see from this page theirlist of principal suppliers/network which includes 2 offshore cos. K's Speed in L.A. & Front Row (Japan, Rome & Hawaii)
http://www.rauh-welt.com/About.html

more renowned for track cars & fast porsche "rat rods"
http://www.rauh-welt.com/RWB%20Circuit3.html

we will be back in tokyo again for most of the summer (and likely relocating back there next spring) so if possible will trip out to their place in kashiwa, chiba see them 1st hand. if so will post up some 1st hand info/pics

my favorite

Definitely look badass... Real good.

Some engine bays have the right stuff in them but soem don't... with the body like these, you need to have at least 500 hp in there...
