You're in luck, because a TT motor is a direct bolt-in to a 912. Fuel, electrical, transmission, clutch, engine mounts -- it's not 100 percent plug-and-play, but close. Weekend job. So get that TT motor, fuhgeddaboutit!

If you guys want to know about the "ultimate" 993 turbo-into-early-chassis, Hank Watts (author of Secrets Of Solo Racing) had an engine sitting around he thought would go into his '97 cab as the factory didn't make the turbo cab he wanted to buy. This is circa 1997, when his car was new. When he decided against that monumental conversion project, he had Mat Lowrance (pretty much the lap record holder out here in anything he's built) throw the thing into a '73 RSR replica, multi-link suspension included. One nasty handful of a car, but _______ fast. Even with 65 year old Hank pedaling it.
