Does this all apply to the Tiptronic?

Stock suspension, but it seems like I don’t have enough room on the inboard side to get the axle shaft through the hub.

staring at it, looks like hub has to at least loosen if not come off.

Long story short -- what a PITA -- I had to basically disassemble both rear ends and separate the hubs (except for the emergency brake line).
This included dropping the sub-frame to get the control arm that holds the drivers side shock mount in place as the eccentric bolt hits the headers.

After much manhandling -- the axles are out -- in the process of rebuilding them.
