I have no affiliation with the them. But heard opposite. Owner was president of metro region with good rep. But always two sides and lot depends on the specific wrench that worked on the car.

Maybe I'm a little slow but why would a shop that has worked on only Porsche since 1966 have the Ferrari font as there logo? Just a stupid question that might make sense to me if explained like I'm a three year old...

ive seen first hand some really bad experiences from Formula motorsports.
I would use the shops on long island mentioned above, or goto rennwerke in westchester, or go a bit further to shops in CT

I've used Rennwerk for PPI's and they were thorough. I would be interested in first hand experiences with Formula... other than attitude, I hear they are a very competent shop... PM is is cool if you don't want to post.

+1 on Lynmor Motorsports. They did the PPI on my car and I have used them exclusively since. Both Richie and Tim go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They are honest, knowledgeable, hard working techs that are more than fair in their pricing and their work reflects this.

Two options are
1) Contacting Ken at
German Auto Repair Technicians

* (631) 789-2426

1 Elm Pl, Amityville, NY 11701
I an not sure if he would make a "house call" and I have no affiliation with the them.
They work on my car and number of Metro Club member cars.

2) Another option is posting the request on the 964 forum. There is a mech. Jay, that just opened a P-shop in Plainview, closer to Queens.

Good luck

Of the shops mentioned above, the OP asked about anyone in Queens.
Formula fits the bill.
Yeah, his reputation about his attitude precedes him. But I've heard he's a competent wrench.

BTW, if you want attitude, bring a dirty P car to Cheech at Rennwerke. He'll ask you to wash it before he will work on it...
However, +1 for Cheech.

Might want to work on your diction and grammar before posting public messages. It would make you seem far more professional.
