Default 1996 Dk Blue Twin Turbo Stolen Newport Beach

Hi - 993TT taken from curbside Tuesday night 12/22/09. Alarm set, don't know how they got through the immobilizer or it was towed.

Chrome wheels, otherwise stock

Any tips please call Newport Beach police or email me

Chris

Wow. Sorry to hear that. Good luck. If I were the cops, I'd be looking in containers headed for Europe in Long Beach.

Dang...

Good luck and here's hoping for a recovery. Or not if it ends up in pieces.
Then we'll hope for a good insurance settlement.

Sorry to hear that. A Seattle police officer once told me, "If you catch a burglar in your home or attempting to steal your vehicle, shoot to kill."

I'd hate the bio-hazard mess that would leave behind. I hope the authorities can locate and recover your car.

This might lead to a good question... How effective are the immobilizer's in these cars? What have other 993 owners done by way of aftermarket alarm systems, etc. I know if someone wants your car bad enough they'll find a way of getting it. But I'm curious if there are any options out there to make stealing these cars a little more difficult.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your car, hope it is only temporary.

Hope you get the car back and the police catch the thieving animals!

F**king bastards!
Alarms systems are great against the novice thief, but the pros find its simplier to back a flat bed tow truck in front of the car and drag it on. Drive it a few miles then unload it into a container truck.
Happens every day a Phoenix detective friend tells me.
His advise was to put a Lo-Jack system in it if you really want it back.
