Yeh, It's beautiful and it's great for the first two snow storms of the season then it just gets a little old. I gave up skiing several years ago when I was standing in the chairlift line at Highlands in Aspen after paying $60 for a lift ticket and 4:00 pm was fast approaching. I had made 4 runs in 6 hours and calculated the cost per run and what it cost me to stand in line... I unsnapped my bindings and walked to my car, sold my skiis the next week and took up indoor pickleball.
Baah Humbug? Sorry!
I'd like a month in Yorba Linda in order to appreciate Fort Collins.

Jerry-- Great post, I was thinking CO needed their own RL thread celebrating the holiday snow.
Luv your Guards Red 993, too. Guessing blacks = winter wheels, Kinesis (avatar) for warmer weather; both look good.
I've admired your mods, like your "Euro Turbo front bumper install...FINISHED!!!" thread. Obvious you have the heart of an enthusiast!
At least we can all enjoy CO's beauty, thanks to your photos.
You're right, though: CO's winter resort industry makes good coin off of my friends & I
My current plan's to ski the Rockies at least one of the next two weekends, maybe both!
I luv the slopes with friends; just want more freetime for their enjoyment. With holiday break in my classes right now, I hope to scoot to the powder pronto
Plus, RLer's e-mailng me about snowboarding this season or next. If so, maybe we can meet you afterwards for some nutritional beverages

I'm big on "nutrition" and that video brings back memories when I was 17 years old and my cousin showed me how to "drift" in the snow with his new GTO! Does that date me, chronologically speaking?

The snow was hitting the windows in my garage so hard I thought someone was throwing things at them. I love the snow! I was out with the ATV and plow this morning cleaning up my drive and reminded myself how much I love living in Colorado!

That's like another reality to me, we have 35deg C here at the moment and it was hotter a few days ago.
An Aussie Christmas often involves, a beach or pool, beer, BBQ, fishing, t-shirt & shorts, sunscreen & hat, sometimes bushfires, the occasional cyclone in the north of the country.
The pics of the snow are very beautiful, thanks for posting them.

Last weekend I was being a little smug and bragged about 40+ degrees and sunny while the east coast was getting hammered. I guess it is out turn, again. I am not complaining. It is one of the reasons I love it here - 4 distinctive seasons, and lots of sunshine.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

although not having a car covered up in the garage is making the winter a little more bearable. come spring time, it will be rough not having that anticipation of the "first drive".........unless i buy a car this winter.
