Simon.
The wing looks like a 964 3.8 RS wing.....

Lets try to do a Saturday Coffee, or lunch thing. Is anyone up from a Dyno day? I know 2 good places one in Seattle & one in Kirkland.

The Starbucks gathering was fun, maybe we will not have the people waiting for the bus yell at us anymore.
Polar Silver
Here's an idea.. Cafe Appassionato in Wallingford, on 45th and Stone Way. It shares a little parking garage that is always empty on a Saturday or Sunday morning. My sister's boyfriend owns the place, I'm sure he wouldn't mind. Plus Wallingford is right off I-5, easy for everyone to get to.

Thanks - the wing is a 3.8 RS wing. Looks funny in the pictures because the upper part isn't mounted.. would be pretty difficult to paint it if it were all together.

update time..

my good friend Rob (Flipside Customs), welded the headlight squirter holes shut on my front fenders. if any of you guys need custom fab work done in the Seattle area, he's your guy.. he does amazing work. www.flipsidecustoms.com/

waxed and masked off the roof on the early 911, then laid out the kevlar. I cut the kevlar an inch from the edge of the roof, then cut the carbon and carbon vail exactly to the edge on the sides, and past the edge on the front and back.

colin and i laid up the roof earlier today. We wet out the first layer (kevlar), second layer (carbon), third layer (carbon vail), then peel ply. cures over night, i can release it tomorrow.

(colin):

my plan was to build 18" Kinesis Supercups.. well i've changed directions on that. Decided to re-configure a set of 18" RH 3.6 turbo wheels that I had sitting around. Building them to be 18x9.5 18x11.5. still undecided about painting the centers a medium grey, or color matching them to the car (polar silver). thoughts?

meanwhile, my wheel collection has been growing. it's been getting awfully hard to walk around my apartment..

Tomorrow i'll release the composite roof, trim it up, and fit it to the car. Everything is coming together; Ordered my seats from Recaro the other day, they will be finished in four weeks. KW V3's on the way from Germany, and various parts from Brad at BW Motorsports.

Nice work. Impressive wheel collection. I vote for dark gray wheels like the GT2. Great choice on the KWs. How come you didn't go for the new clubsports?

I have wheel envy. Cool project, hard to beat custom Carbon/Kevlar parts.

1 vote for centers medium grey. Didn't think I would like it until my brother tried in on his LMs. Granted not the same wheels, but same color concept...see for yourself. http://gallery.me.com/evildub#100167...&bgcolor=black

Sweet build BTW!

That's not a wheel collection, it's a symptom of an acute disease !!!
Unfortunately, I was infected within my first week of joining Rennlist... but luckily it's still in it's early stages.

thanks guys - i went with v3's over the clubsports because the v3's made more sense for what i'm using the car for. it really won't see that much track time. here are the latest pictures.. KW V3's arrived from germany, and the kevlar carbon roof skin has been fitted to the car. I'm really happy with how it turned out.
